Standard option comes with a compression adapter to attach to a welded coupling (female) 1/2" NPT Thread. Only leave it off if you are changing to a different pickup tube.
MALE NPT THREADS REQUIRE WHITE OR YELLOW PTFE (TEFLON) PLUMBERS TAPE BEFORE ASSEMBLY. YOU WILL GALL (BOND) THE THREADS WITHOUT IT.
NOTE: Please specify how the coupling is welded into your kettle. If its welded flush to the inside wall select "welded flush to inside wall". If welded in the middle of the coupling select "welded at middle"
The Center pickup is designed to fit a SANKEY STYLE KEG
Typical use is on hot liquor tanks or with a false bottom. Will fit a 1/2" hole in most false bottoms.
